Me and Eric @ the SJ LiveStrong Challenge 2008

As many of you know, Eric has had Carcinoid Cancer for 10 years now. There is no cure for this type of cancer. We are asking from the bottom of our hearts to help us in our fight against cancer. Eric is a 3x survivor.

Cancer doesn't discriminate, it can strike anyone at any time. This past year, Eric's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and has just finished chemo and has started her radiation treatments. It's been a rough six months for her, but she will survive.

A dear friend of ours, Jere, has been fighting cancer for years. She is an amazing woman and will never give up fighting. She is a true inspiration and we will always think of her when life gets a little rough. If Jere can survive, we can survive.

We know the economy is tight, but if you can spare $5, it will help make a difference. Please help Eric and I in our fundraising efforts. We both need to raise $250 in order to ride in the challenge. I am doing 45 miles, and Eric is doing the 100 miles in Seattle on June 21, 2009.
