The Lance Armstrong Foundation unites people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.
The Kamala100 is my personal challenge to bike more than 100 miles in a single day this summer, including the following events:
-Flying Wheels Classic - 65 Miles
-Livestrong Challenge - 45 Miles
-Mount Constitution Challenge - 24 mile ride with 5 mile/1800 foot climb
-STP!! 204 Miles in 2 Days!
And now every $5 you donate to the Livestrong Challenge/Team Fatty/Kamala100 between now and June 20 gets you an entry for a four-course home-cooked dinner, cooked by Kamala Himself! $5 = 1 entry, $50 = 10 entries, etc.. Before you scoff, my wife will tell you that I can put on quite a cooking show for one night while wooing. Your palate will be amazed, you will have helped a great cause, and you'll get a tax deduction!
Dinner can be cooked in your home or mine, date and menu to be determined by mutual agreement (but you really want the meatballs and roasted red pepper bruscetta, trust me on this).
Knowing that I have your support will help me crank down the backstretch as I dedicate my ride to friends and family who have felt the terrible impact of cancer.
Through the dollars and awareness that we raise, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the millions of people across the globe fighting cancer today.
